STEWARDSHIP
GOAL: To motivate members of our
faith community to active stewardship.
Objectives:
1. To evaluate currently unused properties to discern which one of these
properties can be sold or can be marketed; this will be an ongoing project
for the parish.
2. To actively recruit and train members from each Site in our community
to properly take on the ministry of Money Counters as per Diocesan
Guidelines by Sept. 1, 2006.
3. To actively establish the parish Stewardship Committee by Fall, 2005.
WORSHIP
GOAL: To make the Eucharist the
focal point of unity for our parish and its families.
Objectives:
1. To plan and celebrate Eucharistic Devotions at each Site to enhance the
understanding the Year of the Eucharist.
2. To develop a trained and functional Worship Committee which will assist
in the planning to Parish Worship celebrations and will become responsible
for the training of Liturgical Ministers by September, 2006.
3. To encourage daily Mass and to educate parishioners about weekday
celebration of the Eucharist by Fall, 2005.
4. To recruit more parishioners for the liturgical ministries by Spring,
2006.
COMMUNITY/EVANGELIZATION
GOAL: To further build and
sustain our Parish Community by nurturing all individuals of our Parish
Family.
Objectives:
1. To empower a task force of parishioners who have expressed interest in
Youth to explore the possible options for the development of a wider range
of a Youth Ministry Group for the Church of the Resurrection by September,
2006.
2. To develop a task force which will result in the establishment of an
on-going Committee whose responsibility will be the development of a broad
range of Parish Community Activities by September, 2006.
